The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), sole source action to a verified service-disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) Name of Contractor: Triangle Manifold Services, Inc. 913 Carlton St. Clayton, NC 27520 UEI: LNCNQ9CMJ4N7 The anticipated action is for Medical Instrument Sharpening and Repair Service under NAICS 811219, product service code J066. List of Service: Repair service and preventative maintenance, in full accordance with manufacturer specifications. On-location repair to include: General Surgical Instruments, Ear Nose & Throat, Laparoscopic, Microsurgical, Neurological, Ophthalmic, Orthopedic, Urological, Specialty Instruments, stainless steel instruments sharpened/ refurbished. Loaner: If needed and or requested, the Contractor to provide loaner equipment that is comparable to the equipment being repaired. All loaners will be delivered the same day depending on availability or in no more than 24 hours The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. The anticipated award action is in accordance with the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations, VAAR 819.7007, sole source awards to verified service-disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB). This posting satisfies the federal acquisition regulations for posting proposed sole source actions as required by FAR 5.301(d). This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. All capability statements must be received by no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on October 21, 2022. Responses to be submitted to Amarlia Van Buren, at Amarlia.vanburen@va.gov.
