This project includes, but is not limited to, repairing, resurfacing, alterations, necessary removal, replacement, and all associated finishes work per specifications at Richmond, VA Affairs Medical center. The contractor shall provide the equipment, supervision, and expertise required to perform to mill and pave and then repaint parking lots as per contract drawings and specifications for the work located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Richmond, VA 23249. Classification Set Aside: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Program Set-Aside (VAAR 819.70) Product Service Code: Z2LB Repair or Alteration of Highways, Roads, Streets, Bridges, and Railways NAICS Code: 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction Size Standard: $45 million Place of Performance: 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond, VA 23249 An invitation for Bid is contemplated IAW FAR Part 14: An invitation for Bid (IFB) with a 30-day response time after issuance of solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to VAAR 836-204 Magnitude of Construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation, statement of work, wage determination and any other applicable documents will be available via electronic means on this website on or around August 8, 2023. Telephone requests for plans will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments from SAM.GOV. All interested contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) as well as the Small Business Administration s (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/). Interested contractors must also have completed the on-line Representations and Certifications to be eligible to receive award and be registered for the applicable NAICS Code 236220. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested parties to review this web site frequently for any additional information, updates and amendments. Notice to Offerors: The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
