STATEMENT OF WORK Public Address System Project 590-18-110 Hampton VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA 23667 Scope: The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all required work associated with the public address system as defined in the Specifications and Drawings. The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and expertise required to perform general construction, alterations, electrical work, cabling, programming, and necessary removal, and disposal of existing items as indicated in the construction documents. The Contractor shall install new OSP fiber optic cable, conduits, boosters, Managed Ethernet Switches, VoIP Encoder/Decoders, dual input modules, TCP/IP to RS-232 interfaces, BC-1R battery cabinets, fiber breakout boxes, LC connectors, patch cords and all other components and/or items to complete the project as per the contract documents. The contractor shall manage and perform construction period services as further defined in the Contract to include, but not limited to, permitting, demolition, construction, construction management, submittals, equipment, scheduling, inspection, and testing, recording of (As-Built) drawings and project closeout. The contractor shall also develop a schedule demonstrating fulfillment of the contract requirements such as: Project Schedule, Contractor Quality Control, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Plan, and all other plans listed within the contract to include deliverables. The Contractor shall keep the Project Schedule up to date in accordance with the requirements of the contract and shall utilize the plan for scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring work under this contract (including all activities of subcontractors, equipment vendors and suppliers).

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24621R0045, Project Number 590-19-113 Upgrade ADA for Various Buildings, at Hampton VA Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Dr., Hampton, VA 23667. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. As a result, all SDVOSB may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Scope of Work: Provide construction services for the removal and replacement, and all associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing as per attached plans and specifications at Hampton, VA Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, materials (to include two (2) ADA compliant temporary ramps, two (2) new automatic door operators and associated operating accessories), equipment, supervision, and expertise required to perform general construction, alterations, removal of existing structures and construction debris as per contract drawings and specifications at buildings 137C, 114, and 83 located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hampton, VA 23667. Project Completion: The duration of the project is currently estimated at 180 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/.
