Expand Parking Lighting and Rewiring PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project 637-20-104 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Asheville, NC has a requirement to expand and replace the Charles George VA Medical Center parking lot lighting and all relevant rewiring. Contractor to provide all material and labor necessary to construct work shown on contract drawings, including locating and marking of all underground utilities, protecting utilities during construction, demo, installation of new poles, new concrete bases, LED streetlights, security cameras, rewiring of all streetlights on campus per contract drawings, providing any erosion and sediment control needed during installation and repairing any surfaces or utilities that are damaged during construction back to existing conditions or better. Phasing is necessary to control and mitigate building and parking lot interruptions and down times. Work is expected to be performed outside of normal business hours. Magnitude of Construction: $500,000 to $1,000,000 NAICS Code: 238210 Size Standard: $39.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on or about December 15, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this website. Proposal will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice.
