The Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking potential sources to provide SHOOTING RANGE USAGE services for the Central Virginia VA Health Care System in Richmond, VA. The NAICS code for this procurement is 713990, All Other Amusement and Recreation Industries and the Size Standard is $8 Million. The Contractor shall provide three clear ranges necessary for weapons training required for Veterans Affairs Police qualifications and training as needed to maintain certification. Vendor will be available to set up the range and remain onsite to provide services needed at the requested time. Range Requirements: CVHCS Police Service requires the minimum of seven individual lanes for pistol qualifications and training. Automated target carriage with rotating target control for timed qualification. Tactical (TAC) range required for long gun qualifications and training. A shoot house is required for training and real-life scenarios. All ranges provided with air ventilation and proper room-controlled temperature. Facility Requirements: CVAHCS Police Service requires a classroom for mandatory instructional videos and teaching for annual certification. Facility must be in Richmond, VA to allow for police officers to return to the CVVAHCS in cases of emergency. Period of Performance will be for one base year plus four option years beginning September 1, 2022, with an ultimate end of August 31, 2027.
