INSPECTION AND CLEANING OF HVAC COIL & DUCT WORK Building 14, Laundry Salem VA Health Care System General. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, new parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to provide duct & coil cleaning services to maintain operational status on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment for Building 14 at the Salem VA Health Care System (VAHCS). Salem VAHCS shall not provide service manuals or service diagnostic software to the Contractor. The Contractor shall obtain, have on file, and make available to its field service personnel all operational and technical documentation, (such as: operational and service manuals, schematics, parts list, and diagnostic software), which are necessary to meet the performance requirements of this contract. Background. The Salem VAHCS currently has need for HVAC duct & coil cleaning services for the following . Work shall include: a. Five Trane systems installed in 1976 b. One Heil split system installed in 2012 c. All interior, ceiling mounted units d. Two coils per system (1 chilled water, 1 steam reheat) for a total of 12 coils e. Approximately 1500 linear feet of ductwork
