Replace Balcony Roof, Building 110 Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to release a Solicitation for Construction Services to replace the balcony roof over Room C401 on Building 110 at the Hampton, Virginia VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA. The Contractor will provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to replace the Balcony Roof. This is a turn-key request with the contractor providing all the elements and performing all the work. Work is composed of, but not limited to, management and performance of construction period services, permitting, demolition, construction, construction management, submittals, including general construction, structural, fire protection, hazardous material removal (if any), thermal and moisture protection, finishes, scheduling, quality control, inspection/testing, environmental protection, recording (As-Built) drawings, and project closeout. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M million dollars. IAW FAR 36.204(b), the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The approximate Solicitation issue date will be 30 June 2022. A Pre-Bid Site Visit is tentatively projected for 10:00AM EDT on 7 July 2022. The approximate response due date for Quotes is 1 August 2022. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to bring all necessary personnel, inclusive of subcontractors, tooling, and materials necessary to the Pre-Bid Site Visit. The Government will NOT be providing paper copies of any Solicitation, Solicitation attachments or annexes, Specifications, or Drawings. The Government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or Quote preparation. The Solicitation will be issued on a restricted basis and will be 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: Home · VetBiz Portal (va.gov). Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award. Potential Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. The Solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: https://sam.gov/. Information on how to register your company, view or receive updates to this notice, please access https://sam.gov/. Any amendments to this solicitation will not be emailed but will be posted at the SAM website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining Solicitation documents from SAM and acknowledging all amendments to any subsequent solicitation. NO paper copies of the impending solicitation will be furnished.
