All interested companies shall provide quotations for the following: Supplies/Services Anesthesia Workstation: The automated anesthesia medication workstation securely stores all the medications and supplies needed for a full day of cases in one convenient place and automatically tracks inventory used, cutting hours of manual documentation. The pharmacy operational dashboard helps reconcile and manage the waste and transfer of medication. VAMC Salem has six units and is standardizing equipment/supplies throughout the facility to conduct procedures. This will increase efficiency for biomedical support and maintenance. By using Omnicell they can ensure that the equipment used in the OR and in the clinics and Day Hospital is the same. This will decrease the confusion of staff working in different areas of the hospital and increase patient safety.
