Notice of Intent to post RFQ for Mold and Abatement The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a Open Market Procurement for Mold and Abatement. The Hampton VA Medical Center has a requirement to provide conduct asbestos, lead, mold and minor post remediation constructions and repairs through the contract performance period. The service area for this requirement will be throughout real property of the Hampton VA Medical Center including the Transitional Resident Homes, local and connected Veteran s Cemetery, and Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The period of performance for this procurement shall be a one-time buy option periods. This proposed contract action is for maintenance services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their skill and ability by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement shall review RFQ posted.  Interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or woman owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. This notice shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, small veteran owned, or service-disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NAICS 562910 and Brand Name or Equal Too. Consistent with Public Law 109-461 VA's Veterans First Contracting Program , first priority would be given to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns, should there be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside if the requirement goes to solicitation. Coding books are used in hospitals, doctor offices and clinics to perform medical accurate coding from abstracted information provided by the provider s medical record. The staff are not able to complete coding assignments without the code books, which is where the codes are located. Insurances cannot be billed without the coding from the medical record. Coding Books help you comply with coding regulations, confidently locate specific codes, manage reimbursement for supplies, report patient data, code Medicare cases, and more. There are even dental codes, surgical codes, and illustrations. Items Requested: The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, travel, tools, material, equipment, supervision and technical expertise necessary for the removal and disposal of hazardous materials such as: Asbestos, Lead, mold, and minor flooring repair work at the VA Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia 23667.
