Solicitation Number: 36C24622Q0543 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: VA Pre-Solicitation Notice for Urology Services The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of Charles George VA Medical Center intends to solicit proposals for a non-personal performance-based service contract for on-site laser services to provide the laser, hardware, and a technician to set up, configure, and troubleshoot the equipment. This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intent, to solicit continuous flow cystoscopy services at the Asheville VA Medica Center facility under a Firm-Fixed Priced contract. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement. The VA will accept proposals until 08/16/2022. The solicitation will be available for download from http://sam.gov Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Proposals will be evaluated for award on a periodic basis. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible. This requirement will be solicited on a competitive basis. There is an anticipation of a single award from this solicitation, which will be made commensurate with the needs of Asheville VA Medical Center. All responsible sources may submit proposals. The VA will consider for evaluation only proposals from sources found to be responsive and responsible. The VA will only consider proposals from contractors who have the technical capabilities to provide the services requested along with the equipment needed, and a technician who trained, certified, and qualified to perform the services requested.
