The Department of Veterans Affairs will be soliciting for vendors that can provide pick up and drop off services to and from the Hunter Holmes VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia to The Doorways (formerly Hospital Hospitality House Richmond, Inc.) and the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. This will fulfill the requirement for Patient Transportation Services for the Richmond VAMC Organ Transplant Program for veteran patients and their caregivers referred for this service through the VA National Surgical Office. This will be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement included in the solicitation. A Request for Quote will be issued on or about 26 January 2022. The Period of Performance is for one base year and four option years, totaling five years, beginning February 28, 2022 through 27 February 2027. To be eligible for award, the contractor must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 485991 Special Needs Transportation, the Size Standard is $16.5 Million and the Product Service (PSC) Code is V226, Transportation/Travel/Relocation Travel/Lodging/Recruitment: Taxicab.
