Page 3 of 3 Solicitation Number: 36C24622Q0914 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: VA Pre-Solicitation Notice for VISN 06 Dental Water Testing The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of Fayetteville VA Medical Center intends to solicit proposals from contractors in the following counties in North Carolina and those who can provide the services requested by this solicitation. This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs future intent, to solicit Dental Water Line Testing services at the contractor s facilities, under a Firm-Fixed Price contract for VISN 06 that can provide the requested service. The VA anticipates issuing this solicitation via Open market as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside for this requirement. The VA will accept proposals for this solicitation the current year until 02/11/2022. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.sam.gov . Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO or Contract Opportunities website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Proposals will be evaluated for award. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible. NAICS Code is 541380 Testing Laboratories with a small business size standard of $16.5M. The classification code is H299. This requirement will be solicited on a competitive basis. There is an anticipation of a single award from this solicitation, which will be made commensurate with the needs of Fayetteville VA Medical Center. All responsible sources may submit proposals. The VA will consider for evaluation only proposals from sources found to be responsive and responsible. The VA will only consider proposals from contractors who are certified with Environmental Protection Agency and certified to perform Environmental Testing in accordance with American Public Health Association.
