Capable vendor shall furnish all labor and material to provide maintenance of plant and flower gardens at the Charles George VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC campus. Maintenance to include following: Exterior plant maintenance at the Charles George Statue Garden (October 1, 2021 thru September 30, 2022) Exterior plant maintenance at the ACA Awning and gardens at the VA Medical Center (October 1, 2021 thru September 30, 2022) Spring flowers and plants for the ACA Awning (April 15, 2022.) Weeding of VA Logo and Day Lilly bed, spray border, separate plants, plant to fill 3 times per year (April, June and August) Provide housekeeping and clean-up after preventive maintenance. Weeding and trimming of two-tier beds at CLC Courtyard consisting of: heavy pruning and weeding of both beds, mulch application. General maintenance of Community Living Center memory garden to include fertilizer application and weekly planter weeding. General Maintenance of Zen Garden, weekly watering as needed, fertilizer application and planter weeding/pruning, including cutback of perennial plants for overwintering. A request for quote will be issued on, or about, 3 November 2021. Period of Performance is a Base Year plus four, 4, Option Years, beginning 15 November 2021 to 14 November 2026. To be eligible for award, the contractor must be registered in SAM database at http://www.sam.gov. The North American Industry Classification Code, NAICS, is 561730 (Landscaping Services) the Size Standard is $8 Million and the Product Service Code, PSC, is S208 (Housekeeping-Landscaping/Groundskeeping).
