PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #659-20-202 Construct Elevator Building 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Brenner Ave Salisbury, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 659-20-202, to construct elevator in building 2 at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. General Scope: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work to complete the elevator tower for Building 2, southwest wing on the rear side of the building by SPS located at the VA Medical Center, Salisbury, North Carolina. The foundations and ground level steel structure were originally constructed as part of the expansion of the SPS Department and new loading dock. Project goals include providing a service elevator tower with 3 stops to include the ground floor, 4th and 5th floors as required by drawings and specifications. The Specifications and Drawings package provide the full scope of the project, prepared by, The Offices of Toland-Mizell-Molnar, as Architect-Engineers, will render certain technical services during construction. Such services shall be considered as advisory to the Government and shall not be construed as expressing or implying a contractual act of the Government without affirmations by Contracting Officer or his duly authorized representative. Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS CODE: 333921 Size Standard: 1,000 employees This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside.
