Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 AMBULATORY CARE ADDITION (ACA) AWNING Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to release a Solicitation for Construction Services for an Ambulatory Care Addition Awning project at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. The Project will provide for the removal of existing asphalt; site excavation; storm water drainage alterations; construction of new structural footings; construction of new steel and glass canopy; backfill; and repair and/or installation of new asphalt paving. All works shall be completed in conformance with Government produced specifications and drawings. Work is composed of, but not limited to, management and performance of construction period services, permitting, demolition, construction, construction management, submittals, including general construction, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, hazardous material removal, thermal and moisture protection, utility systems, finishes, scheduling, quality control, inspection/testing, environmental protection, recording (As-Built) drawings, and project closeout. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M million dollars. The approximate Solicitation issue date will be 3 June 2022 with an approximate response due date of 5 July 2022. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204. A Pre-Bid Site Visit is tentatively projected for 2:00PM EST on 9 June 2022. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to bring all necessary personnel, inclusive of subcontractors, tooling and materials necessary to the Pre-Bid Site Visit. The Government will NOT be providing paper copies of any solicitation, solicitation attachments or annexes, specifications, or drawings. The Government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or proposal preparation. The Solicitation will be issued on a restricted basis and will be 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: Home  · VetBiz Portal (va.gov).
