Network Contracting Office 6 intends to release a solicitation for construction services for Project 652-18-930, Emergency Department Headwall Renovation at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC located at 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond, VA 23249. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to reconfigure the Emergency Department in building 500 in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work shall include, but is not limited to, demolition, architectural, electrical, data cabling, plumbing, structural, and mechanical improvements. Contractor shall provide and install a head wall unit and bed locators in all 18 patient rooms specified on the drawings. Contractor must relocate and fit all wall mounted existing and new headwall units, including, but not limited to data, electrical, oxygen, vacuum, and other medical gases in a compact package on the head walls. The NAICS code for this project is 236220: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The solicitation and related documents will be available on or about May 9, 2022. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. No paper copies of the solicitation & associated attachments will be made available.
