Page 2 of 2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking the services of a qualified construction company to provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment, and qualified supervision required for the following requirement: Structural Repair/Upgrade Building 27 located at Hampton VA Medical Center 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton VA 23667. In general, this project will provide construction services for the removal and replacement of roofing materials, structural members, doors, frames, all associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, and removal of lead-based paint, mold remediation and asbestos abatement. The work shall be performed in strict accordance with construction drawings and specifications prepared by Department of Veterans Affairs. This solicitation is anticipated to be open market, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Offers are solicited only from SDVOSB concerns and offers received from concerns that are not from SDVOSB concerns shall not be considered. The NAICS code for this project is 236220: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation material will be available on or about November 1, 2021. Material will include the solicitation and accompanying documents such as: drawings which will be provided by the VA. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This is a notice for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal. The government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information will be provided until issuance of the solicitation. No interested parties list will be maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for amendments and/or notices to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. SAM and Vetbiz registration must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
