The VA is seeking a qualified Contractor to furnish all tools, equipment, material, permits, labor, and supervision necessary to accomplish, the work including the contract documents, plans, and specifications, a summary of which is provided below. The General Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and required documentation to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and perform work for the construction of the 4th MRI addition as required by drawings and specifications. The contract shall include all work needed to provide an approximately 2,785 square foot single story addition construction to match the exterior of the existing facility. Interior finishes shall match standard facility materials, colors, and patterns. Relocation of the existing MRI trailer and services is provided. Period of Performance/Work Site: 360 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Work will likely commence Early Spring 2021. Work site is building 500 located at 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond, VA 23249 The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and size standard $39.5 million applies. In accordance with FAR 36.204, disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
