No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item: Special Requirements for Salisbury VAMC Deliveries All orders shall be received at Building 5 (loading dock) at the VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC, within the specified timeframes: Deliveries to be made not before 7:00am and not after 1:00pm, Monday through Friday including Federal Holidays. Deliveries shall not be made on Saturday or Sunday, except in extreme emergencies. Deliveries shall be made two (2) times per week and not on consecutive days. The VA needs enough time before the expiration date on product to allow reasonable rotation. Bread delivery shall occur 5+ days before the expiration date on the delivered product package. Payment will be made monthly upon receipt of properly prepared invoices for items delivered and accepted during the preceding month. The proper purchase order number shall be stated on each invoice. 1 Bread, white, 20 to 24 oz. lf, class B enriched-style pan baked, round top or sandwich, 16 to 18 slices per pound 3100 EA 2 Bread, whole wheat, 20 to 24 oz. loaf, round top, no white flour shall be used, pan type, 16-18 slices per pound 3600 EA 3 Bread, fresh, whole wheat hamburger bun, soft, pan baked, sliced, whole wheat must be primary ingredient by weight, dietary fiber shall be a minimum of 4 grams not to exceed 6 grams per roll. Sodium shall be a minimum of 150 mg not to exceed 200 mg per roll, must meet the regulatory definitions of "low saturated fat and low cholesterol." Calories per roll shall be a minimum of 100 calories not to exceed 150 calories. Minimum of 8 rolls per package not to exceed 12 roll per package 3000 EA Special Requirements for Fayetteville VAMC Deliveries All orders shall be received at the Nutrition and Food Services Building (Building 3), 2nd Floor, Room 209 at the VA medical Center, Fayetteville, NC within the specified time-frames: Deliveries to be made not before 6:00am and not after 2:00pm, Monday through Friday. Deliveries shall not be made on Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holidays, except in extreme emergencies. Deliveries shall be made two (2) times per week and not on consecutive days; and at least once (1) per week for ice cream and sherbet products. The VA needs enough time before the expiration date on product to allow reasonable rotation. Milk and milk product delivery shall occur 10+ days before the expiration date on the delivered product package, and milk delivery temperature must be at 38 degrees or less and ice cream/sherbet must be delivered in a frozen state. Payment will be made monthly upon receipt of properly prepared invoices for items delivered and accepted during the invoice period. Minimum of 8 rolls per package not to exceed 12 roll per package 1500 EA If the contractor can provide the above-mentioned units, brand name or an equal to product, the contractor SHALL submit product information for evaluation. If the contractor can provide the above items, the contractor SHALL provide a letter from the manufacturer stating they are an authorized distributor/licenser of their products. Failure to submit an authorized distributor letter shall result in the product(s) potentially offered to be considered grey market and shall not be considered technically acceptable. The Veteran Administration is required to give priority to SDVOSB and then VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set-aside. If insufficient veteran owned small business responses are received, the acquisition will be set-aside for small business participation if there are sufficient firms available. If insufficient small business responses are received, the action will be advertised for full and open competition.
