The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 100 Emancipation Dr., Hampton, Virginia 23667, is seeking potential sources capable to provide document and media destruction services. Applicable NAICS Code is 561990 with a size standard of $12.0 million. Classification code is R699. Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment including confidential containers (consoles/bins), secured vehicles, personnel/labor, and technical supervision required to provide on-site commercial document destruction services of confidential waste for Hampton VAMC and surrounding CBOC locations. These services are in accordance with National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-88 Revision 1 Guidelines for Media Sanitization.
