Notice of Intent to Issue Sole Source Award The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6), intends to negotiate with Bracco Diagnostics Inc on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to procure preventative maintenance, accessory cart, high pressure hose, yoke, installation and training for the Protoco2l Touch Insufflator for the Richmond VAMC. Protoco2l Touch Insufflator automatically controls the insufflation of carbon dioxide during a CT Colonography (CTC) to ensure patient comfort and adequate insufflation for imaging. This is the only device which matches Richmond s current equipment. This requirement is Brand Name Only for standardization at the Richmond VAMC.
