Solicitation 36C24621Q0304 will be issued on or about March 18th, 2021. Richmond VA Medical Center (VAMC), located in Richmond, Virginia has a requirement for Contingency laundry services of laundry from two different locations (Richmond VA Medical Center and Hampton VA Medical Center). Contractor shall furnish all supplies, materials, equipment, personnel/labor, technical supervision, certifications, training, and laundry facilities necessary to provide Contingency Laundry services as needed by Richmond VA Medical Center. All laundry work must be completed and ready for Richmond VAMC to pick up within 24 hours. Laundry facility must be located within 135 miles of Richmond VA Medical Center. Requirement is for a base and four (4) option years. This acquisition shall be procured and awarded using unrestricted procedures. The applicable NAICS Code is 812332 with a size standard of $41.5 million. All correspondence and responses shall be via e-mail to Breon.campbell@va.gov . Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, Virginia 23249, is seeking potential sources capable to provide Contingency Laundry services. Applicable NAICS Code is 812332 with a size standard of $41.5 million. Classification code is S209. Contractor shall furnish all supplies, materials, equipment, personnel/labor, and technical supervision required to provide Contingency Laundry services from two different locations (Richmond VA Medical Center and Hampton VA Medical Center). Laundry to include bath towels, sheets (flat/fitted), pillowcases, blankets, comforters, wash cloths, fitted sheets, hand towels, bathmats, bed pads, pajamas, hospital gowns, mop heads, reusable bags, cloth cubicle curtains, shower curtains, etc. Laundry is sent daily from each facility (Monday to Friday) and must be handled by facility for the laundry processing. Laundry cannot be mixed or batched with the other facilities; each facilities laundry must be processed individually.
