Sources Sought Notice This is a Sources Sought Notice No solicitation exists currently. This Notice is to help locate potential sources that may be interested in this requirement and is being used as a means of market research for planning purposes only. The Central Virginia VA Healthcare System Nursing Services Located at 1201 Broad Rock Blvd. Richmond, VA 23249 requests the procurement of a total of 8 FTE (16,640 hours) annually for on-site contract Certified Registered Nurses (RN), to gap-fill, staffing coverage required for Nursing Services. The nurses will be providing staffing support to our medical specialty areas and clinics that includes SICU, OR, Emergency Departments, Rehab/Long Term care, as well as many other areas. Staffing is provided during business hours on-site only, and the nurses will provide coverage for all shifts in a 24-hour period, seven days per week, 365 days per years, to include 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, as specified by the units. Delivery of direct patient care will be provided in both inpatient and outpatient areas of the medical center 100% of the time. The anticipated NAICS Code for this requirement is 561320. The Department of Veterans Affairs shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the contractor as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
