The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, Durham VAMC, Durham, NC intends to award a contract for the purchase of Alternating Air-flow Mattresses. The NAICS code for this requirement is 337910 and business size standard of 1000 employees. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. The Durham VAMC, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 is seeking a potential qualified contractor that can provide the following items (no gray market items accepted): ITEM DESCRIPTION QUANTITY MATTRESS, PRESSURE REDUCTION, PRESSUREGUARD CUSTOM CARE CONVERTIBLE LOW AIR LOSS (LAL),84 X 36 X 7 INCH, WEIGHT CAPACITY 500 POUND,5 YEARS NON-PRORATED WARRANTY, SLOPED FOR HEEL PROTECTION 40 each This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
