The Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham VA Medical Center requires optimization, upgrade, and maintenance of their Building Management System. Upgrade must include the most up to date proprietary Siemens Building Automation software and products. In addition, design, support, and integration to a redundant Building Management System comprised of non-vendor specific products that communicate via a native BACNET protocol is required. The existing Building Management System is primarily comprised of, but not limited to, Siemens Apogee Insight software and Siemens products. All computer related equipment and support required of the Durham VA Health Care System to complete the contract requirements of the contractor, absolutely must be coordinated, and approved by the Office of Information and Technology.
