Page 2 of 2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking the services of a qualified construction company to provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment, and qualified supervision required for the following requirement: Replace Wall Protection Building 137(A) located at Hampton VA Medical Center 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton VA 23667. In general, this project shall include all labor, tools and material to replace wall protection, patch, paint walls, replace handrails and rubber walls base at required by the Hampton, VA Medical Center. Additional work will include installation of temporary protective screening around work areas, removal of existing handrails, wall protection board, corner guards, wall guard and vinyl base as described and identified in required areas. The work shall be performed in strict accordance with construction drawings and specifications prepared by Department of Veterans Affairs. This solicitation is anticipated to be open market, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Offers are solicited only from SDVOSB concerns and offers received from concerns that are not from SDVOSB concerns shall not be considered. The NAICS code for this project is 236220: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Contractor Size Standard of $39.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation material will be available on or about July 28, 2021. Material will include the solicitation and accompanying documents: drawings provided from the VA. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This is a notice for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal.
