The Department of Veterans Affairs VA intends to enter into a sole source contract with Commander s Concepts Commissioning, LLC of Forest, Virginia to provide a VA Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) with quality assurance and risk management services within a 100-mile radius of the place of performance Salem Veteran Affairs Medical Center locate at 1970 Roanoke Blvd; Salem, Virginia 24153-6404. This contract action will have a period of performance of two hundred eighty days (280). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5), Authorized or Require by Statute, as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 and 38 U.S.C. 8127 (c), known as Veterans First Contracting Program which provides VA with the authority to directly contract with a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB).
