Project Description: The VA Medical Center located in Salem, Virginia is seeking a general contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete work associated with the Renovate Primary Care Unit (PCU) as described and shown in the construction specifications and drawings. Work consists of general construction demolotion, civil, structural, architectural, medical gas, fire alarm, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and telecommunications. Project will renovate and expand builiding 143 abd building 5 for the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) implementation of Primary Care/Mental Health integration. This project will renote approximately 27,503 SF of existing space and add approximately 4,275 SF to buildings 5 and 143 Primary Care Unit (PCU) spaces at the Medical Center. This solicitation includes a Base Bid and one (1) deduct alternate. ALL bid items MUST be priced by offerors.
