No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their response to this notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East, is in the process of planning a requirement for Morgue Transportation and Storage Services in support of the Fayetteville Veteran Affairs Medical Center (FVAMC). The Fayetteville VA Medical Center is in need of vehicular transport of deceased veterans to and from the FVAMC morgue to outlying facilities for autopsy and transport to and from the FVAMC to outlying facilities for temporary cooler storage in the event the FVAMC morgue is rendered inoperable. This should include fixed prices for transport and daily rates on storage. The morgue is located at: Fayetteville VA Medical Center 2300 Ramsey Street Fayetteville, NC 28301 This potential requirement may be for a base period of 12 month plus four additional 12-month option periods. The applicable NAICS Code is 812210 Funeral Homes and Funeral Services with a size standard of $8 Million. The VA is seeking written responses to assist with identifying potential sources that are interested in, and capable of, providing the services described.
