The Contractor shall provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to complete the services. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Place of Performance: Charles George VA Medical Center 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805. Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a base year plus three one-year options beginning October 1, 2020 September 30, 2021 in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS is 812332, Industrial Launderers with a Size Standard of $41.5 million. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 25, 2020 via Contract Opportunities website via https://beta.sam.gov/. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to Uniform Leasing Services for forty-one (41) employees at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. The NAICS 812332 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $41.5 Million. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. The Contractor will provide all materials, hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, transportation, supervision and technical expertise to provide Uniform Leasing Services at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. The Contractor is expected to provide customized uniforms. Polo type shirts are required, and pants must be khaki style, tan in color. Contractor must provide alterations, repairs and replacements as necessary and a total of seven (7) uniform sets is required for each employee.
