Market Research is being conducted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to provide Online Whole Health Training for the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. The NAICS 611430 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $12.0 Million. The Contractor will provide the following for this contract: Employee Wellness Virtual Platform (Ompractice) Appropriate level of encryption to ensure security of user information Ability to track and monitor deidentified user information to assess usability Virtual two-way interface for live wellness classes Yoga, tai chi, and mindfulness classes provided at a variety of time, Sunday through Saturday Wellness classes instructed by teachers with Veteran-focused and trauma-focused training Established standard operating procedure for addressing physical safety concerns of participants during live classes Self-Compassion training (Center for Mindful Self Compassion) Live online training platform Ability to schedule course during standard office hours (Monday-Friday, 0800-1630) Instructors must be certified as Mindful Self Compassion teachers with requisite number of courses and individual mentorship completed Meditation Training (iRest Yoga Nidra Institute) Online training platform that provides access to self-paced modules for clinicians to complete training during standard office hours (Monday-Friday, 0800-1630) Print course materials to supplement online modules Course content must include information on the basic principles, history, theory, practice, and delivery of iRest; sufficient coverage of how to incorporate the 10-step iRest protocol into clinical practice for psychologists, social workers, and physicians. Virtual support by phone or web-based video from certified instructors Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback training (HeartMath) Online training platform that provides access to self-paced modules for clinicians to complete training during standard office hours (Monday-Friday, 0800-1630) Course content must include information on the scientific underpinnings of the and therapeutic implications of HRV measurement and assessment; specific protocols for integrating HRV interventions into professional practice for psychologists, social workers, physicians, and nurses; protocols for use of HRV in 1) multi-visit interventions; 2) one or two visit interventions; 3) acute interventions; and 4) group therapy interventions. Completion of course will provide certification for Heart Rate Variability biofeedback to ensure clinicians are able to request privileges or have HRV added to competencies Print course materials to supplement online modules HRV software that is compliant with VA OI&T standards for trained clinicians to utilize in practice with Veterans Weekly and ongoing support for clinicians to address how to use HRV software Portable equipment that can be used with cell phones for Veterans to practice at home that is compatible with clinician software Handheld HRV equipment that can be used without a cell phone for Veteran s to practice at home (i.e., home trainers ) that is compatible with clinician software All interested parties, capable to provide the above should respond, in writing via email to Ashley.Korahaes@va.gov.
