NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667, intends to award a sole source agreement/contract to Keyence Corporation of America for Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center. This contract action is for the purchase of BZX Hardware, software and Objective lens for which the Government intends to solicit from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334112 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement by submitting such information by 5:00 P.M., EST. on 25 June 2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with this requirement. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). An authorized dealer/distributor letter must be submitted with supporting evidence. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be used to determine acquisition strategy. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
