The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is to conduct market research to obtain knowledge of potential qualified offerors interested and capable of providing Off-Site Autopsy Services, with the ability to meet the requirements of a resulting solicitation. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code 621111 with a size standard of $12 Million. The Charles George, Asheville VA Medical Center located in Asheville NC., Contractors shall perform complete autopsies consisting of an external examination, dissection, gross and microscopic examination. Services will be needed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The contracted medical facility shall be located within seventy-five (75) miles radius of the Charles George Asheville VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. All beneficiaries referred during the contract period will be seen at the CONTRACTOR FACILITY. It is the VA intention to negotiate and award on a competitive basis. No formal solicitation document exists currently. Responses to this notice to provide Off -Site Autopsy Services shall provide the following on company letterhead ; Complete Business Name as registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM), Point of Contact, Business Size (large or small), identify whether or not firm falls into any of the Social Economic Categories: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned, Small Business, etc.), Capability Statement containing information about recent relevant project/s similar in size and nature, DUNS Number and Address, by 3:00 o'clock pm EST 06/22/2020. Any interested party with questions shall ask their questions via email to Warren.O’Bryant@va.gov from 06/02/2020 until 3:00pm EST 06/04/2015 (no phone call will be accepted). All answers will be provided individually to the interested parties on or about 06/05/2020.
