All offers that are not in compliance with all aspects of this RFQ may be determined to be nonresponsive. All pricing shall be notated next to each door listed in "P09 Exhibit 1".

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 will be soliciting quotes for Fire Door Repair services. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, management and supervision necessary to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions of the resulting contract. The fire doors located in Buildings 1 and 23 were surveyed in the summer of 2019 for code compliance per NFPA 80 and VA guidelines. The resulting report from the inspection details all the fire door deficiencies that were reported. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24620Q0579 will be issued on or about May 25, 2020. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is June 5, 2020 through March 5, 2021 (or contract award date to 9 months from contract award date). The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 Facilities Support Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $41.5 million. The classification code is H212 Equipment and Materials Testing Services/Fire Control Equipment. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Contract Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
