Introduction and Overview The Laboratory Service at the Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System, comprised of the Fayetteville Medical Center (FVAMC), Fayetteville Health Care Center (FHCC) and Wilmington Health Care Center (WHCC) has a need for an annual accreditation. 1.1 Background The renewal is a yearly requirement that keeps the Fayetteville NC VA Coastal health Care System in compliance with the maintenance and quality standards necessary to perform laboratory testing within the requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA). 1.2 Scope of Work 1.2.1. The vendor shall accredit each laboratory from 20 March 2020 to 19 March 2021. 1.2.2. The vendor shall inspect the WHCC laboratory prior to 29 September 2020. 1.2.3. The vendor shall provide annual accreditation checklists along with any updates specific to the scope of laboratory testing performed for each laboratory listed above. 1.3 Period of Performance The period of performance for this service contract covers the period from 20 March 2020 to 19 March 2021. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses.
