This is a Solicitation Notice/ Amendments are attached/ The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), Hampton, VA intends to solicit quotations from Contractors that can provide Elevator Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services. The site location for this service will be at Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, N.C. 27705 The intended contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order. Quotations will be accepted for a base with four one-year option periods. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quotation submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FCO website (https://beta.sam.gov/) so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in VetBiz database (VetBiz registration is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) under the applicable NAICS. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and Vet Biz information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no contract can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM. NAICS Code is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractor) with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5M. The classification code is J099. The planned solicitation issuance is for an open market SDVOSB Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit quotations to be considered by the Agency. Sources Sought Synopsis The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 06, is issuing a sources-sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the experience, interest and resources to provide Elevator Maintenance services to support the Durham Veterans Health Care System (DVHCS). It is the intent of NCO 6 to award a 1-year base period contract with four additional 1-year optional renewals. The results of this market research will help in determining the type of set-aside (if any). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238290 with a $16.5 million small business size standard. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) must be listed as verified on the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ in order to receive contract awards under the Veterans First Contracting Program.
