INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Networking Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to negotiate sole source commercial item procurement with Meso Scale Discovery located at 1601 Research Boulevard., Rockville, MD, 20850 for an Academic service Package plan to maintain Meso Scale Discovery equipment located at the following locations: Durham VAMC, NC The period of performance for this procurement shall be for 12 months with 4 one year option periods. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement no later than 10:30 a.m., Jan 9, 2017 EST to: sherry.holmes@va.gov. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost of obligation to the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
