The contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, management and supervision necessary to perform Sensitive Document Shredding Services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The service will require the contractor to work with VA staff to properly manage the destruction of sensitive data to include paper documents, optical discs, magnetic tapes, and any other media that may contain information that is deemed sensitive by the Salem VA Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC s) located in Lynchburg, Staunton, and Wytheville. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24619Q1125 will be issued on or about December 9, 2019. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 (or contract award date to 1 year from contract award date) as the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process.
