The third paragraph of the sources sought announcement is corrected to read as follows. This Sources Sought Notice is not a formal request for proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists currently. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their response to this notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East, is in the process of planning a requirement for Janitorial services at the Durham Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 508 Fulton St, Durham, NC 27705. Please see the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS), and supporting quality assurance surveillance plan. This potential requirement may be for a base period of one year plus four (4) additional one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS Code is 561720 (Janitorial Services) with a size standard of $18.0 million. Corresponding Product Service Code is S201. The additional information provided is as follows: This is a new requirement and there is no previous incumbent or contract number to support this requested service. The contract anticipated award date is 30 Nov 2019 and funds been appropriated for this opportunity. It is the potential vendor s responsibility to monitor the FEDBIZOPPS website at https://www.fbo.gov for release of any future amendments or solicitation that may result from the sources sought. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham VA Medical Center, NC 27705 has a requirement for Janitorial Services 1st and 2nd shift. Square footage available on appended document labeled Sq Footage For Janitorial Contract . The contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to clear snow and ice from identified roads and parking lots at the Durham VA Medical Center (DVAMC) located at 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. The period of performance for the resultant contract will be a one year base contract with four (4) one-year option periods, 30 December, 2019- 29 December 2024 in strict accordance with all schedules, specification, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
