This is a Sources Sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is the conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest in seeking: Small Businesses (SB); VA certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) small business concerns. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to an acquisition approach. Your responses will be due by Friday, August 2, 2019, 12:00PM (EST) to the point of contact listed below. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, and the Durham Veteran Affair Medical Center located: 508 Fulton St., Durham, North Carolina, 27705 anticipates a requirement to procure Geenius HIV test kit w/ a cost per test agreement or a brand name or equal to product. Description: Geenius System Geenius HIV Suppl Assay-20 10 Kits Geenius HIV Suppl Ctrols-1 POS, 1 Neg 10 Kits SCOPE Contractor(s) shall provide in accordance with the specifications outlined below a full range of confirmation and differentiation of individual antibodies for Human Immunodeficiency Virus Types 1 and 2 (HIV-1 and 2) and with a cost-per-test agreement. The test is intended for use as an additional, more specific method to confirm the presence of antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2. The cost-per-test agreement shall include the Geenius System Computer, Reader, Printer, Barcode Scanner and a Literature Binder, Controls and Test Kits. The analyzer shall be maintained by the contractor in accordance with manufacturer s standards. All requirements and provisions defined in the Statement of Work will apply to any laboratory, i.e. branch, division, subcontractor, etc. performing confirmation and differentiation testing on behalf of the Contractor. The agreement shall include any and all new facilities and/or CBOC s acquired into Durham VA Medical Center (DVAMC) during the contract period at a negotiated cost per coverage. When additions occur, a bi-lateral contract modification will be executed.
