The VA intends to award a sole-source service and preventive maintenance contract to Eaton Corporation for eight Eaton UPS systems, including a flex plan with two UPS and two battery preventive maintenance checks for all systems. Eaton is identified as the OEM and only authorized provider of proprietary service software, factory-trained/certified support, and repair documentation for the equipment. The period of performance is one year/12 months. Services will be performed at the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV 25704-9300.
