Services would include professional evaluation and instruction in the safe use of special add-on equipment and mastery of techniques to drive independently in accordance with state DMV regulations. Objectives include patient acquisition of didactic and practical driver-training knowledge, documented psychomotor improvement in driving tasks, maximized driving independence, and use of adaptive equipment to support mainstreaming into society.
