This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for a proposed award to Lumenis, Inc. for full-service maintenance and repair of one Selecta Trio ND:YAG laser. Performance is at the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV 25704, and services include preventive and corrective maintenance, labor, replacement parts, software updates and upgrades, and technical support. The term of service is a Base Year plus four Option Years. Lumenis states that only its employees may provide service and that independent service technicians are not provided training, procedures, updates, specialized tools, or test fixtures. This notice is not a solicitation, and the Government will consider capability statements, proposals, or quotations from responsible sources with documentation showing access to OEM-trained personnel, required procedures, tools, compatible parts, software updates, and technical support.
