This Sources Sought announcement is for market research only and seeks capable contractors for an analog-to-digital TV signal conversion at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington, DC 20422. The work includes verifying the existing TV inventory, reconfiguring the headend and RF distribution, replacing 4 GW-brand and approximately 38 legacy P15X patient-room displays with interactive arm-mounted Ethernet-connected displays, installing 38 clear-QAM set-top converters, adding 42 articulating patient-TV arms, installing 5 RF distribution amplifiers and CAT6 drops, and extending service to Fisher House. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, materials, testing, programming, staff orientation, information security compliance, and closeout documentation, including Section 508 and VA security requirements. Performance is 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, with recommended phases from days 1–20 for site verification through days 110–120 for punch list and closeout.
