6680--Loch Raven Boiler Fuel Reserve Tank
This project involves the purchase and installation of a 6,000-gallon, skid-mounted diesel fuel tank on the existing asphalt driveway at the Loch Raven VA property to support the boiler system. The contractor is responsible for delivering and installing the tank, connecting fuel piping, installing protective concrete barriers and a perimeter fence, and integrating the tank with an existing monitoring system. A key requirement is that the contractor must provide one-inch thick steel road plates to be placed under the tank supports to distribute the load. The work includes all necessary components, fittings, and programming of the monitoring console for overfill protection. The owner will provide the initial fuel delivery.
