Provide Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Services
The Hershel Woody Williams VAMC requires a contractor to serve as a Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert (MRSE) to provide consultation on all MRI safety matters. The MRSE will support the facility's safety officers by advising on imaging protocols for implanted devices, assisting with safety program development, and participating in equipment planning and incident investigations. The expert must attend quarterly safety committee meetings held via MS Teams. Key personnel must hold board certification as an MRSE from the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety. The work supports compliance with VHA directive 1105.5 on Magnetic Resonance Safety.
