Please note the Government intends to issue the solicitation for VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 5) Regulated Medical Waste and Sharps Removal Services for all VISN 5 VA Medical Centers (8 VAMCs)... Please note the Government intends to issue the solicitation for VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 5) Regulated Medical Waste and Sharps Removal Services for all VISN 5 VA Medical Centers (8 VAMCs) and their associated CBOCs (28 CBOCs) when it is available. Â VISN 5 serves Veterans from economically and demographically diverse areas within Maryland, the District of Columbia, and West Virginia, plus portions of Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky. The network includes eight VA medical centers located in Beckley, Clarksburg, Huntington, and Martinsburg, WV; Baltimore, Loch Raven, and Perry Point, MD; and Washington, D.C. In addition, the VA Capital Health Care Network also includes 28 community-based outpatient clinics. This requirement will be set aside as Tiered Evaluation including SDVOSB, VOSB and SB in accordance with VAAR 819.7010. Tier 1-SDVOSB, Tier 2-VOSB, Tier 3-All other small business concerns. SDVOSB/VOSBs/SBs must be listed and viewable in the Small Business Administration (SBA) database located at https://search.certifications.sba.gov. The SBA database will be checked at the time of offer submission as well as prior to award. The Government may award the contract based on the initial quote without discussion. The resultant contract will be 1 Base year + 4 Option years, Single Award Firm Fixed Unit Price Blanket Purchase Agreement IAW RFO 12.201-1(e)(3). All contractors must be registered in the SAM Database, https://www.sam.gov, prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to submitting quotations.
