This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice (SS), this is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP). No formal solicitation document exists at this present time. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice NAICS 339113 (surgical appliance and supplies manufacturing) PSC 6530 (hospital furniture, equipment, utensils and supplies) NAICS size standard of (800) employees for the Perry Point, MD VAMC. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, a solicitation announcement may or may not be published in SEWP, SAM.gov or GSA ebuy. Statement of Work Instrument Drying Cabinet Purpose: The purpose of this effort is to provide Sterile Processing Services with an Instrument Drying Cabinet to allow for the proper processing of reusable medical instruments and devices. Objectives: Obtaining an Instrument Drying Cabinet that is medical grade and will allow for the proper drying of reusable medical equipment. Scope: The scope of this effort is to procure an Instrument Drying Cabinet. Instrument Drying Cabinet is intended to aid in drying of clean medical devices that are not processed in an automatic washer/disinfector. The glass cabinet allows the operator to easily view the devices currently being dried. The drying cabinet is designed to reduce manual drying times. The Instrument Drying Cabinet is a turnkey project. The contractor will be required to: Deliver Instrument Drying Cabinet Install the Instrument Drying Cabinet Provide staff with written materials and in-service towards the use of the cabinet. Uses HEPA filtered air Measures 29 inches wide Monitors the temperature of the air to avoid overheating Period of Performance: 60 days after receipt of order for delivery and installation.
