DESCRIPTION: Please note the Government intends to issue this solicitation for non-emergency ground ambulance transportation services for The Baltimore VA Medical Center VA Medical Center, its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and affiliated healthcare clinics when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for five years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a 5-year Commercial Firm Fixed Price, Shared Capacity, Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
