SCOPE: 2.1. The vendor shall deliver a new benchtop refrigerated centrifuge to the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC. Only new equipment will be accepted. The vendor shall ship the refrigerated centrifuge to meet the requirements and capabilities listed within the scope. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Please note, all items listed below must be technically equivalent to or exceed the Beckman Coulter Allegra V-15R Benchtop The Allegra V-15R refrigerated benchtop centrifuge with its compact design frees up space on the bench, the centrifuge has great versatility with 10 rotors and a comprehensive selection of adapters to allow for a variety of applications from cell and blood separation to high-throughput screening, it has advanced temperature management to spin faster and longer without over heating the samples, it is convenient to use with simple and seamless soft-touch lid closure, and enhanced safety features with biosafe rotors, automatic rotor recognition and a built-in imbalance sensor to ensure safe and efficient operation. 2.4.1.
